Altia Business Park is part of the Real Estate Division of Grupo Karim’s, where we live CSR as a daily value.

In our history of 25 years, we have won a number of awards and certifications for our ongoing efforts in the development of our employees and our neighboring communities. In order to permanently ensure a sustainable culture we have created the Grupo Karim’s foundation with three areas of approach:

Education

We ensure the eradication of illiteracy in our employees, and we sponsor the public school nearest neighbor to each of our businesses, which provide infrastructure support , materials, equipment , teachers and other scholarships at other institutions currently benefiting almost 3,000 children.

Health

Ensuring the overall health of the people through an ongoing program of medical brigades, leading specialists and medications to adults and children in our communities . Besides our flagship project the “Clinica Medical Amar y Compartir” which provide general medical and social assistance to persons of limited resources; currently operates as an extension of the afternoon in the outpatient of the Mario Catarino Rivas Hospital.

Environment

The respect for the environment is key to our operations, our actions internally are environmentally friendly and energy-saving care. We have buildings with LEED certification by the U.S. Green Building Council, we have a treatment water plant and we generate steam through a 2,500 hectares of King Grass, biomass which generate steam;in addition we are constructing a power generator. Externally, we reforest our areas of influence, maintain recycling campaigns and deliver constant lectures on environmental awareness to employees, communities and sponsored schools.
